Everything about this salon is lovely , right from the owner -Asha , to the amazing staff members, to the fantastic service offered and last but not the least the positive vibes offered by this place. You would definitely feel like going back again and again. 1st service taken - Toner - charges £25 for long hair , which I thought was reasonable. I was happy that I got toner done to my hair because my hair were kind of looking gingery , which was result of maybe the previous colour fading. Celina applied a red toner and my hair looked super awesome. 2nd service taken - Keratin treatment - charges -£130 for long hair. It took almost 3-4 hrs for this treatment. I was instructed on the after care , hair products etc. I washed my hair after 3 days and the hair still were little frizzy, exactly behind the neck portion. I called up the salon to raise this issue And , Asha and her team were super supportive. They booked another appointment for me and did the treatment again. They also informed me about the reason behind the frizz.At night, if we happen to sleep on pillows that have satin covers ,resulting in sweaty head and hair would affect the keratin treatment and would result in frizzy hair ,near the neck portion. Asha and her team didn't play any blame game , instead they just put me in chair for redoing the treatment. Two staff members were working on my hair for nearly 3 hours. No questions asked. Asha said that at the end customer should be happy with the service. I was pleased with the afterwash result this time. I followed their instructions to the T, this time. Planning to go back again for hair colour , after a month or so. I would highly recommend this salon , thank you dear Asha and her team. Special thanks to Celina for doing the treatment and doing the feather cut , which looks lovely on me. Note - the cut was part of the treatment , which was a bonus.
- I had my first keratin experience at this salon, and it was just the best salon experience in UK so far. Having thin hair always made me afraid to do any much experiments on my hair, but it was the Asha and her team that brought the actual facts about the process and even during the whole process they ensured to share the guidance/tips and after care properly to have the best results.And now I love my hair the most. - And its not only the service but the whole environment in salon is so warm welcoming and supportive. Asha and her team ensure that the client is happy and they get the best of the service that one has asked for, as for them “Happy Customer” that matters the most. - Not only just the service they also checked the after results and since my hair was wavy and thin it was hard to get it right in one go. They never had put any blame on the client instead they got me booked another appointment and did the treatment again. And they also informed me the reason behind the frizz. - The whole team there is very friendly. - I would high recommend this salon. Had my nails done with shellac. Within a week the shellac is cracking. Never had this before with any shellac or gels. The polish seems to be very poor quality. Asked for full face threading. Was told that eyebrows wouldn’t be shaped. When I checked the following day, there were many hairs left on the sideburns and bottom of the face. Would not return. VERY disappointed with nails and threading.
Went a month back with a friend for a haircut (colour + cut for her) and pedicures. The girl who did my pedicure was not qualified (she was a high school student on a summer job) and they don't have sufficient equipment. The pedicure didn't even last a week before the nail polish chipped off. Hair stylist didn't seem to understand English and I am very disappointed with the cut. (Selina is good but was not there). Though we had booked, the owner kept delaying my friend's hair colour and cut because other customers kept coming and she took them. My friend was there for almost 3 hours for a simple colour, cut and blow dry. She is also very disappointed with how her hair turned out. At one point, the girl doing my pedicure switched to serving the owner's daughter, without finishing my pedicure. Really disappointed. Would not recommend at all.
It was a fantastic job done by Celina. She spent 5 hours on my hair to do hair colour, highlights, a hair cut and a blow dry. She is very friendly and a helpful person. Asha always does my eyebrows and upper lips, no complaints at all. There are no words to describe how good they are. I highly recommend Beauty by Asha on kenton. I guarantee you will never be disappointed. Excellent sevice and professional staff.
